Love

The Bible states, “Though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing” (1 Corinthians 13:3). Love is one of the foundational principles of the Christian life. In fact, we can say that love is the foundation of Christianity. Without love, nothing else matters. We can give all that we have and in the end it means nothing if our labor does not come directly from the love of God. Just go to Matthew 22:35-40. But what is love you ask? Well the bible uses a lot of Greek words to describe love. God does not command us to show friendship because we naturally desire to have friends. The word ‘love’ that we are commanded to pursue is ‘agapao’, which means to actively care for or the act of loving. The word ‘agape’ is the love of God and means self-giving, sacrificial love.
Which do you have? There is only one love you can have. That's Agapao love. Knowing the Greek words is not necessary, but understanding the biblical principles are. Only God has true, self-giving, sacrificial love. When we are in Him, His love flows through us and we actively love others. Find It. Keep It. Give it. Do what ever you can to get it. I have and once you have it you'll be able to learn how to love. So be happy because you are loved and if you havn't already. Tell the one you care for how much you love them becasue they just might need to know.

Understanding Humankind

God made something wonderful when he made man. But somethings wrong with the way mankind thinks. I mean, take girls for example. Girls are set to one dial. They see a strong sexy guy and they think "Oh I would love to be his girlfriend" And that guy turns out to be a real jerk. Then you have the smaller, less attractive guys who are considered geeks in some countries. That same girl would not only show no signs of acknowledging him but she would never think twice about it. And this guy turns out to be the kinder one. So it all comes down to the age old question. Do you pick beauty over the heart? I decided. I chose to go with what I saw in his heart. He's not like the other (strong and sexy) guys, But I find my self loving him because of who he is and if every girl thought like that, the world would be better off. So smile, God's watching.

Gods love

God's Love feels no burden, thinks nothing of trouble, attempts what is above all, pleads no excuse of impossibility...It is therefore able to undertake all things,and it completes many things, and warrants them to take effect, where he who does not love would faint and lie down. God's Love is watchful and sleeping, slumbereth not. Though weary, it is not tired, though pressed, it is not straitened, though alarmed, it is not confounded. God's Love is like a mountain,hard to climb, but once you get to the top the view is beautiful.
